Beautiful flooring needs a flat, dry subfloor. We check moisture, flatten humps, fix squeaks and plan the layout so the final rows are not skinny slivers. Boards are acclimated, laid in staggered rows and fastened for the type of wood and subfloor.
We install transitions, stair nosings and baseboards or shoe molding, and leave a clean finish. Sanding and finishing are available for site-finished floors.

Solid hardwood can be refinished many times but moves with humidity. Engineered flooring is more stable and works over more subfloors.
How long should wood flooring acclimate?
Many manufacturers recommend several days in the home at normal temperature and humidity, and we follow the maker's instructions.
